In 2021, the Centre Hospitalier de Valenciennes (CHV) decided to implement medical remote monitoring and integrate it into oncology care pathways within the Day Hospital. Adopting a remote monitoring tool requires significant support for care teams, making change management a major priority.
To facilitate the solution's implementation and deployment, and to best support the various project stakeholders, the following challenges were identified:
- Ensuring interoperability between the solution and the Hospital Information System (HIS).
- Engaging care teams and fostering their buy-in to the project.
- Accounting for the organizational context and the time each individual could dedicate to the solution's deployment.
- Facilitating onboarding for future users.
Discover in this case study the operational approach taken to enable the optimal deployment of medical remote monitoring into routine practice.
