Introduction

Symptoms frequently experienced by patients undergoing anti-cancer treatment are a major cause of morbidity and acute complications. However, they remain insufficiently detected and are often underestimated by healthcare professionals[1].

By enabling earlier management of patient-reported outcomes (ePROs), medical remote monitoring delivers significant clinical benefits, such as the reduction of severe toxicities, emergency room visits, and unplanned hospitalizations, as well as the improvement of quality of life and the extension of treatment duration.

For this reason, the ESMO (European Society for Medical Oncology) recommends medical remote monitoring for cancer patients[2]. This study presents the deployment of medical remote monitoring for patients undergoing treatment in hemato-oncology.

Poster presented at the 2024 EHA (European Hematology Association) Congress.
