Introduction

The European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) recommends Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) in oncology for patients undergoing anti-cancer treatment, given the clinical and organizational benefits[1-4] concerning:

  • Symptom control,
  • Quality of life,
  • Reduction in the number of hospitalizations,
  • Prolongation of overall survival.

The Resilience PRO medical device (Class IIa) offers a patient interface for symptom reporting and a healthcare professional interface for alert monitoring. Personalized resources are also provided to patients via the mobile application.

As of December 2023, Resilience is deployed in 61 centers and monitors 4,240 patients across Europe. This study evaluates the feasibility of implementing Resilience in routine clinical care at the Jules Bordet Institute.

Poster presented at the 2024BSMO congress (Belgian Society of Medical Oncology).
