Introduction
Medical Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) based on ePROs (electronic Patient-Reported Outcomes) improves cancer care, yet digital illiteracy remains a barrier to its systematic adoption. Healthcare professionals' perceptions—often influenced by patients' age or socioeconomic status—or patients' self-reported digital difficulties can affect engagement with remote monitoring. This study evaluated how healthcare professionals' perceptions and patients' self-declared digital literacy influence the use of remote monitoring and symptom control in oncology.
