Introduction
Patient empowerment is essential for delivering proactive, participatory, and sustainable oncology care[1].
Patient education can enhance autonomy[2], disease knowledge[3], informed decision-making[4], and reduce anxiety[5]. Physical activity and cognitive-behavioral therapies are validated, evidence-based strategies for improving patients' quality of life and symptom management[6].
Currently, access to supportive care is limited and varies from one cancer center to another, which can lead to disparities in care.
The use of digital health can empower patients to self-manage by facilitating and democratizing access to educational resources[7]. Resilience PRO is a Class IIa digital medical Remote Patient Monitoring device that utilizes ePROs (electronic Patient-Reported Outcomes).
We co-designed and integrated evidence-based education and self-management programs, which are delivered according to the patient's needs. Here, we present the development and implementation process of these resources.
