Introduction

Medical Remote Monitoring based on ePROs (electronic Patient-Reported Outcomes) has demonstrated clinical and organizational benefits through Phase III randomized controlled trials[1-4]. These benefits include:

  • Symptom control,
  • Quality of life,
  • Increased relative dose intensity,
  • Reduction in the number of hospitalizations,
  • Prolongation of overall survival.

Consequently, in 2022, ESMO published its recommendations regarding medical remote monitoring for routine clinical practice during anti-cancer treatments[5].

Resilience has developed an oncology medical remote monitoring solution (Class IIa medical device) that enables patients to answer a weekly questionnaire (PRO-CTCAE) regarding their common symptoms. Severe symptoms trigger an alert for the healthcare team. Personalized advice and educational resources are also provided to patients via the mobile application.

This study presents the deployment of the Resilience solution in France and Belgium.

Poster presented at the 2023 ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology) Congress.
