In 2023, the Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) project was approved by the General Management of Hôpital Européen Marseille (HEM), championed by the Head of e-Health. The key challenge was to support the organizational changes required to integrate remote monitoring into existing care pathways.

By late 2023, the Resilience Oncology solution was implemented within the Oncology and Outpatient Chemotherapy Department. The momentum created successfully mobilized all stakeholders to achieve the set patient enrollment targets:

  • Working groups were organized to facilitate the integration of remote monitoring.
  • Management approved a dedicated part-time position, effective late March 2024, just three months after the first patient was enrolled. Specific active caseload targets were set. By September 2024, this position evolved into a full-time role approved by management, ensuring the long-term sustainability of the remote monitoring activity.
  • A structured workflow was deployed to meet these goals, systematizing the enrollment of all patients treated in the Day Hospital.

Discover in this case study how the remote monitoring project came to fruition, enabling the enrollment of the entire active patient caseload.
